By creating an account or using the 8BFR Music Network ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. You must be at least 13 years old to use 8BFR, or have parental consent through our KidZone system if younger.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during signup. Sharing your account with others is not permitted. You may not create accounts impersonating other people or artists. The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
You retain ownership of content you post on 8BFR, including music, beats, posts, stories, and comments. By posting content, you grant 8BFR a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Platform. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload. Do not upload copyrighted material that you do not own or have permission to use.
8BFR operates on an 80/20 honor-based revenue split for music and beat sales. 80% goes to the creator, 20% is the platform fee. Creators are trusted to remit the platform's share. Failure to do so may result in suspension of selling privileges. All transactions use a trust-based PayPal system. 8BFR Music Network is not responsible for disputes between buyers and sellers regarding beats or songs. Please contact the seller directly for refunds or issues.
Users who select Artist or Beatmaker roles must verify their identity through a Spotify artist page link, subject to owner approval. Unverified users cannot upload or sell music. The verified badge (checkmark) is a separate paid feature. Verification can be revoked for violations of these terms.
You may not use the Platform to: harass, bully, or threaten other users; post illegal, obscene, or harmful content; spam or send unsolicited messages; attempt to hack, exploit, or disrupt the Platform; impersonate other users, artists, or staff; upload malware or malicious content; create fake accounts or manipulate engagement metrics; engage in any activity harmful to minors.
8BFR is a creative community built on mutual respect. Hate speech, discrimination, and targeted harassment are not tolerated. Content posted in Community Chat, DMs, and the Feed must follow community guidelines. Reports are reviewed by moderators and the Platform owner. Violations may result in warnings, temporary mutes, or permanent bans.
8BFR coins are a virtual currency used within the Platform for tipping, purchasing items, and rewards. Coins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Coins may be earned through engagement, purchased, or received as tips. The Platform reserves the right to adjust coin values or availability.
KidZone is a separate, protected section for younger users. Parents must verify their identity to create child sub-accounts. KidZone content is fully moderated. Children cannot access the main Platform, send DMs to adults, or participate in monetary transactions. Unlawful actions toward children on this Platform will result in immediate account termination, and all available information will be forwarded to law enforcement.
Your privacy matters. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
The 8BFR name, logo, and Platform design are the property of 8BFR Music Network. You may not use our branding without written permission. The Platform respects intellectual property rights and will respond to valid takedown requests for copyrighted content.
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. 8BFR does not guarantee uninterrupted service, data preservation, or specific outcomes from using the Platform. We are not responsible for content posted by users or for transactions between users.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 8BFR Music Network shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to the Platform in the past 12 months, if any.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes through the Platform's announcement system.
